Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Help review and verify documentation submitted by loan applicants (e.g., business licenses, bank statements, SSM docs).
2. Assist in the initial credit assessment process under supervision of credit analysts.
3. Ensure data is accurately entered into the loan management system.
4. Assist in preparing financial reports such as cash flow statements, profit & loss reports, and balance sheets.
5. Support analysis of loan performance metrics, repayment trends, and default rates.
6. Help track KPIs relevant to SME/MSME lending (e.g. average loan size, approval rate, repayment rates).
7. Organize and maintain compliance and audit-ready documentation.
8. Assist in mapping and improving internal operational workflows (e.g., onboarding, disbursement, collections).
9. Work with the operations team to identify inefficiencies and suggest digital or process-based improvements.
10. Support communication with SME/MSME clients regarding disbursement schedules, repayments, and document follow-ups.
11. Attend team meetings and contribute insights during brainstorming or process review sessions.
12. Work cross-functionally with marketing, credit, and tech teams to understand broader company operations.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

1. Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics or relevant field
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Bahasa Melayu.
3. Proactive and innovative startup mindset
4. Creative, Proactive & Dynamic personality
5. Self-organized person and Eager to learn.
6. Working hours: Monday - Friday (8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.).
7. Internship period: 3-6 months
