Job Description
- Source, compare and purchase materials, furniture, and renovation items from local and China suppliers
- Liaise with China vendors via WeChat / Alibaba / Taobao / 1688
- Obtain quotations, evaluate price competitiveness, and negotiate for the best deals
- Coordinate shipping, delivery schedules, and logistics arrangements
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain proper documentation
- Track incoming shipments and ensure items meet required quality
- Work closely with project team to support purchasing needs
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain good working relationships
Job Requirements
- At least 1–2 years experience in purchasing or procurement (construction/renovation industry is an advantage)
- Experience dealing with China suppliers is a strong advantage
- Able to use WeChat, Alibaba, 1688, Taobao, etc.
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Able to work independently and meet timelines
- Basic Mandarin understanding is preferred (to liaise with China suppliers)
- Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented
