Job Description

• Assist in monitoring the export and import shipment processes under supervision.
• Support coordination with the production team to follow up on order updates and assist in planning shipment arrangements.
• Help in vessel bookings to ensure timely and smooth shipment scheduling.
• Work closely with the freight forwarder to assist in coordinating export shipments, including container arrangements and preparing relevant shipping documents.
• Support the coordination of import shipments, including assisting in the application of import permits, reviewing shipping documents, and updating the purchasing team.
• Assist in ensuring shipment records are maintained accurately and timely, including shipment dates, shipping costs, and reporting of any damages to goods or containers.
• Help monitor shipment accuracy in terms of quantity and item details.
• Assist in maintaining proper records and filing systems for shipping documents to support audit requirements.
• Carry out other tasks and assignments as instructed by the management.
• 5 working days per week.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or other related fields.
• Proficient in both English and Malay, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, eager to learn, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and collaborate well in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Own transport is preferred for commuting flexibility.
