conduct classes/lectures, tutorials, and practical/ bed side teaching; consultation with students.</li> <li>To invigilate the examination and conduct student assessment.</li> <li>To Participate and contribute to high quality assurance program and curriculum development.</li> <li>To Plan and implement teaching strategies to optimize student learning as well as to motivate them.</li> <li>To Support in evidence-based research project work of undergraduate students</li> </ul> <p>2.&nbsp;<strong>Student personality development, student support / supervision</strong></p> <ul> <li>To be a mentor/ academic supervisor to a group/s of student.</li> <li>To be convenor of at least one co / extra-curriculum activities for students</li> </ul> <p>3.&nbsp;<strong>Administration / service to UOC</strong></p> <ul> <li>To undertake and contribute to administrative responsibilities such as attending departmental meetings, participating in committees, and working groups within the Department, Faculty and University.</li> <li>To Participate in continuous professional development activities.</li> <li>To Assist in establishing linkages with external organizations/ professional bodies in academic related matters.</li> <li>To be a course coordinator</li> <li>To conduct student Interviews</li> <li>To participate in University/faculty Promotional activities like career fair and educational fair</li> </ul> <p>4.&nbsp;<strong>Clinical services (Clinical lecturers only)</strong></p> <ul> <li>To Provide clinical /patient care services as requested by training / Ministry of Health hospital/clinic. (Minimum 4 hours/week)</li> </ul> <p>5.&nbsp;<strong>Contribution to society, professional body, corporate etc.</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contribute to professional consultancy &amp; networking – international &amp; local, as approved by Dean of Medicine. 6. Research &amp; self-development</li> <li>To participate in scholarly activities, including undertaking research, conference presentation, journal publications and training of peers</li> <li>To support efforts to secure grants for research activities and scholarship as co-researcher.</li> </ul> <p>7.&nbsp;<strong>Other duties as directed by Dean of Medicine</strong>.</p> </div></div><div class="brxe-block col-8"><h2 class="brxe-heading primary text-m">Skills and Experiences</h2><div class="brxe-text"><ul> <li>Master Degree or PHD from a recognised university preferably in respective discipline of study</li> <li>At least 5 to 10 years experience in teaching at College/University level</li> <li>Research and publication proven track record</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a diverse group of students and colleagues</li> <li>Strong leadership and managerial skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively</li> <li>Familiarity with MQA and MOHE requirements is an added advantage</li> </ul> </div></div><a class="brxe-button btn-main bricks-button bricks-background-primary" href="https://boards.briohr.com/mindaglobal-xpbsame68h/details/6621cb8ca92f4d000848bbed" target="_blank">Apply Now</a></p>
