Job Description

The Position

  • Oversee nomination and confirmation processes for training programs, ensuring timely coordination with stakeholders.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and select training providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage external training applications, including registrations and training bond agreements.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skills gaps and prioritize learning initiatives.
  • Plan and maintain training calendars aligned with business objectives.
  • Take ownership of training logistics, including venue setup, materials, vendors, and billing.
  • Organize team-building activities, tournaments, and employee engagement events.
  • Collect and analyze pre- and post-training feedback; track training effectiveness using KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Finance and other departments on training-related payments.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of training materials and interactive learning methods (e-learning, webinars, workshops).
  • Support internal communication by highlighting training initiatives in newsletters.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Human Resource Development or Management, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in planning, coordinating, and managing training and development activities, preferably in the retail or fast-paced industry.
  • Certification in Training & Development (e.g., HRDF/HRDC TTT, Certified Trainer) is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead training initiatives, conduct needs analysis, and measure training effectiveness.
  • A proactive team player with strong leadership qualities, initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other relevant tools/platforms (e.g., LMS, HRIS).
  • Flexible and willing to travel domestically and internationally for training programs, engagement events, and related activities.
