Work you’ll do

 

  • You will serve as a Manager leading the teams on multiple client engagements and proposals in various industries in Southeast Asia.  You will lead the teams on various advisory projects throughout the merger and acquisition life cycle, focusing on value advisory, financial modelling and decision support for transactions.
  • You will bring organizations together through mergers and acquisitions, or creating new entities through separations and divestitures, which are among the most complex business activities an organization will ever undertake.
  • You will lead teams to deliver value to clients by resolving their challenges and providing strategic support throughout their M&A journeys.
  • Lead the development of our talent by implementing an apprenticeship model that fosters growth and skill-building, ensuring our team members have meaningful and fulfilling career paths.
  • You will be actively involved in pitching for engagements, executing projects, and responding to client requests, all while providing exceptional client experiences and building long-term relationships.
  • Working in close collaboration with other offering teams within the firm across various disciplines and geographies.

Requirements

 

  • Possesses undergraduate or master’s degree in accounting, finance or business majors from a recognized university with outstanding academic credentials or professional qualifications such as CFA, CVA, ICAEW and ACCA. Professional certification such as CVA, CFA will be highly regarded.
  • Ideally, 6 to 8 years of relevant working experience in business valuation, auditing, M&A, investment banking, private equity, or equity research.
  • Possesses good financial modelling skills, including building financial models from scratch and reviewing clients’ models.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills, an inquisitive mindset, a logical thought process, and the ability to simplify complex issues and lead your team to complete the engagements efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate and present ideas confidently for the board of directors and senior management team.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, leading a highly driven team which values a high-performing culture mindset, collaboration, caring for each other and respect.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with a strong desire to build internal and external professional networks.
