In addition, a collaboration with Malaysia’s Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) featuring recurring durian sampling parties, has fed over 12,000 durian lovers in Hong Kong. InFebruary 2016, Hong Kong opens up the first DurianBB store. The company’s latest set-up is DurianBB Park, a flagship based in the very heart of Kuala Lumpur that has since emerged as a key tourist destination in just a few months. Other than introducing this Malaysian specialty across the region, several boldly innovative events such as “Durian Market”, “Durian Night Market” and “Durian Auction Party” have been received with overwhelming response in Hong Kong! DurianBB was founded by a squad of fun-loving, avid durian enthusiasts who are passionate in disruptive ideas. <ul>
<li>Assist the Events Executive/Manager in planning event layouts, schedules, checklists, and resource requirements.</li>
<li>Prepare event materials, props, merchandise, registration kits, and equipment.</li>
<li>Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely setup and delivery.</li>
<li>Conduct inspections within our site to verify cleanliness, safety, and readiness for guests.</li>
</ul>
On-Ground Event Operations
<ul>
<li>Manage registration counters, ushering, crowd flow, booth operations, and guest assistance.</li>
<li>Ensure all event activities follow the planned timeline and coordinate with team members to execute transitions smoothly.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot operational issues immediately and escalate when necessary.</li>
<li>Oversee adherence to safety and compliance standards throughout the event.</li>
</ul>
Commanding an Audience &amp; Public Instruction Delivery
<ul>
<li>Confidently address groups of participants, visitors, or staff using clear verbal instructions.</li>
<li>Conduct announcements, briefings, or demonstrations as needed for activities, games, workshops, or event flow.</li>
<li>Maintain strong stage presence and the ability to capture attention in both small and large group settings.</li>
<li>Communicate calmly and effectively during urgent situations, ensuring the audience receives accurate and timely instructions.</li>
<li>Adapt tone and communication style based on audience type (e.g., corporate guests, families, children, VIPs).</li>
</ul>
Customer Service &amp; Guest Engagement
<ul>
<li>Provide friendly, professional assistance to guests, exhibitors, partners, and VIP attendees.</li>
<li>Resolve guest queries and issues with a service-minded approach.</li>
<li>Support event engagement activities such as games, demonstrations, product explanations, or guided experiences.</li>
<li>Collect feedback from participants when required.</li>
</ul>

Administrative &amp; Logistical Support
<ul>
<li>Maintain inventory of event supplies and equipment; ensure proper storage and usage.</li>
<li>Record attendance, participation data, and other required metrics.</li>
<li>Assist in preparing post-event reports, photo logs, and documentation.</li>
<li>Handle minor administrative tasks such as paperwork, vendor forms, payment processing support, and internal coordination.</li>
</ul>
Team Collaboration &amp; Support
<ul>
<li>Work closely with the event team, contractors, part-timers, and volunteers to ensure efficient operations.</li>
<li>Provide leadership if overseeing small segments of an event or supervising temporary staff.</li>
<li>Participate in team briefings, rehearsals, and debrief sessions.</li>
</ul>
