Job Description

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

  • Lead strategic sourcing activities, bid evaluation, and vendor selection processes.
  • Source, liaise, and negotiate pricing with suppliers and contractors to secure the best value.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures while maximizing cost efficiency.

Cost Estimation & Budgeting

  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare cost estimations for projects.
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand project requirements and scope.
  • Monitor project schedules, ensuring cost control and adherence to approved budgets.

Tender & Contract Administration

  • Assist the tender process, including the submission of tender documents and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in compliance with SOPs.
  • Prepare and review tender reports or tender analysis to support decision-making.
  • Draft and issue Letters of Award/Purchase Orders to contractors.

Project Measurement & Valuation

  • Analyze and interpret drawings, floor plans, and perform quantity measurements using CAD software.
  • Conduct site valuations and prepare interim valuations.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage variation orders while preparing final accounts.

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Oversee supplier performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Provide regular cost reports and analysis to management for informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement and contract administration policies.
  • Assist with other purchasing-related matters as required by management.


Job Requirements

 

Education:
Diploma or higher qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or contract administration, preferably within the construction or related industry. Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is an added advantage.

Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and cost control.
Proficient in procurement documentation, vendor evaluation, and purchase order management.
Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with cost estimation tools or CAD drawings is a plus.

Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective communication and negotiation skills.
Able to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
