Job Description

The Assistant Manager, HR Systems administers and optimizes HR digital platforms to enhance operational efficiency and system effectiveness. The role drives continuous improvements, ensures data accuracy, and manages seamless integrations across HR systems. Working closely with stakeholders and vendors, the incumbent supports analytics, governance, and HR digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Digital HR Process Optimization

  • Administer and optimize Workday and other HRIS platforms to support operational efficiency.
  • Support and continuous digitalization and process improvements in collaboration with process owners and system consultants, enhancing system configurations, workflows, and reporting capabilities.
  • Support and coordinate HR system integrations (e.g. Workday and payroll systems) to ensure data accuracy, operational efficiency, and seamless data flow.
  • Resolve system-related user requests and issues to ensure stable, efficient, and compliant HR operations.

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of employee data, HR analytics, and system integrations.
  • Support the implementation and effective use of HRIS and related tools to deliver meaningful workforce insights to management.
  • Develop, review, and maintain HR dashboards and reports to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities and provide actionable insights.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with HRIS vendors, system consultants, and service providers to ensure service quality, timely issue resolution, and continuous system enhancements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirements, compliance obligations, and governance standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional discussions to address system, process, and operational efficiency issues.


Job Requirements

Experience Requirement

  • 4–8 years of hands-on experience in HRIS system support, configuration, and administration.
  • Strong expertise in Workday configuration, reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite), EIB, and integrations.
  • Proven experience working with multi-system HR and payroll integrations.
  • Well-versed in using AI tools to analyse system data, identify trends, and support reporting, troubleshooting, and process optimisation initiatives.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into effective technical and functional system configurations.
  • Action-oriented, structured, and able to work independently as a system owner with minimal supervision.

Education Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
