About the role

We are looking for a talented Purchasing to join our dynamic team at Harmonious Happy Ventures Sdn Bhd. As a Purchasing, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement of goods and services to support the ongoing operations of our manufacturing and logistics business. This is a full-time position based in Cheras, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

1. Negotiating and securing favourable contracts with suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of materials, goods and services
2. Managing the procurement process, including raising purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and addressing any discrepancies or issues
3. Maintaining detailed records and reports on purchasing activities, budgets, and supplier performance
4. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and identifying innovative sourcing solutions
5. Continuously exploring opportunities to optimize procurement processes and drive cost savings
6. Ensuring all purchasing activities adhere to company policies and relevant industry regulations

Job Requirements

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
2. Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a commercial mindset
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams
4. Proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office applications
5. A proactive, organized and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
6. Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and best practices
