<div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Description</h2> </div><div>OVERVIEW <ul> <li>Cost analysis, target costing, margin analysis and tracking of cost of underlying activities.</li> <li>Update standard costs in bill of material (BOM) and review standard &amp; actual costs.</li> <li>Coordinate Inventory taking.</li> <li>Month End closing and preparation of reports. </li> </ul> DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li>Assist in a cost accounting system updates.</li> <li>Review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.</li> <li>Coordinate physical inventory taking.</li> <li>Investigate &amp; coordinate reconciliation of cycle counting variances and resolve issues with process owners.</li> <li>Assist in setting up the manufacturing costing and stock valuation method in accordance with accounting policies.</li> <li>Verifying the bill of material (BOM)and performing validation on the monthly manufacturing costing data</li> <li>Update standard costs in bill of material (BOM) and review standard &amp; actual costs for inaccuracies.</li> <li>Review production overhead and variances to ensure accuracy of product costing.</li> <li>Assist in product margins analysis and cost centres/plants.</li> <li>Report on periodic variances and their causes.</li> <li>Ensure all category stock movement and ending balance tally with accounting inventory ledger account.</li> <li>Review reports prepared by junior executives.</li> <li>Attend auditors’ queries.</li> <li>Any other duties or tasks as assigned by superior. </li> </ul> REQUIREMENTS Education: <ul> <li>Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Professionalism Qualification, i.e. ACCA or CIMA or its equivalent </li> </ul> Work Experience: <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years working experience. </li> </ul> Technical and Professional Knowledge: <ul> <li>Knowledge in accounting. </li> </ul> Certification / License Requirement: N/A </div>
