Job Description:

• Record all documentation, emails, instructions and changes for the issue to project quality control for reporting and record purposes in the project file.
• Verify & document that materials submitted for client approval for the projects are acceptable for use in the project.
• Schedule/request QC Department to periodically carry out follow up inspections on projects, to verify that work is proceeding with the contract document and submittals.
• Review shop drawings & submissions for conformance with project specification - utilising the knowledge & experience of the Project Manager and/or the project team when necessary.
• Engage Project Engineers to provide submission documentation that reinforce the activities that are being constructed in accordance with each specific projects established standard and confront non-conformance to provide the desired outcome in a timely manner.
• Ensure workforce utilize the correct procedure and format for inspections and tests on site to assure conformance of materials to contractual specifications and standards. Signed off by client or clients representative.
• To plan as required, allocated labour, materials, plant, transport and equipment.
• Plan, call off and allocate materials to suit programme requirements.
• To plan activities of allocated Project Engineers (or assistants) under his/her control, in line with project requirements. Coordination, site visits, time sheets, documentation etc.
• Review & propose alternative methods for installations and tasks to promote/increase productivity.
• Ensure Installers are trained to the level of the task required to deliver quality conformance and production levels.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining a satisfactory Health & Safety program. Utilize the assistance of the Health & Safety Coordinator as required for any assistance required with safety documentation submissions and approval.
• Monitoring of the project budget.
• Ensuring that projects are carried out within the labour and material budget parameters provided.
• To take responsibility for the costs of each project on an on-going basis.
• To monitor the costs at all times.
• To submit monthly progress claims, and follow up as necessary with client for agreement of claim amount, payment certification and finally payment of invoice in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services
• 5 years or more working experience in building construction industry
• Someone from rainwater drainage or rainwater management industry will be highly advantage.
• Experience working in multi projects simultaneously
• Ability to read and understand building construction drawings
• Good command of English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia; Written & Verbal
