Job Description

We are looking for a performance-driven Retail Area Manager to oversee multiple retail outlets across Klang Valley. This role is fully accountable for driving sales growth, leading store teams, and ensuring consistent operational excellence across all assigned locations.

You will play a key role in scaling a fast-growing retail network by building strong store leadership, optimising KPIs, and ensuring every outlet delivers a high-performing and disciplined retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Target Ownership

• Drive and deliver sales targets across assigned retail outlets
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics
• Identify underperformance early and implement corrective action plans

Store KPI Management

• Track and enforce retail KPIs such as conversion rate, ATV, UPT, and revenue
• Ensure accountability and consistent performance standards across stores

Team Development & Talent Management

• Recruit, onboard, and train Store Managers and retail sales staff
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions
• Build a results-driven and accountable retail culture

Operational Excellence

• Ensure adherence to SOPs and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain operational consistency across all outlets
• Improve store processes and efficiency where necessary

Inventory & Stock Management

• Oversee inventory planning and stock replenishment
• Monitor shrinkage control and forecasting accuracy

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Marketing and Operations to support campaigns and launches
• Ensure retail execution aligns with overall business objectives

Job Requirements

• 1–2 years experience as a Retail Area Manager managing multiple outlets
  (Strong Store Manager from established retail brand may be considered)
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding retail sales targets
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs (conversion rate, ATV, UPT, revenue)
• Experience in hiring, training, coaching, and managing retail sales teams
• Hands-on experience in inventory management and stock forecasting
• Highly organised and capable of managing multiple store locations independently
• Own transport and willing to travel frequently within Klang Valley
• Strong leadership presence with effective communication skills
