Job Description

• Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and post-event analysis of a diverse range of events, including exhibitions, conferences, product launches, and corporate functions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company standards.
• Develop and manage comprehensive event budgets, meticulously tracking expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their vision and requirements, and providing proactive communication and strategic guidance throughout the event lifecycle.
• Source, negotiate with, and manage a network of vendors and suppliers, including venues, caterers, AV technicians, and decorators, ensuring timely delivery of services and adherence to contractual agreements.
• Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to drive event attendance and engagement, leveraging various channels to reach target audiences.
• Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue setup, seating arrangements, audiovisual requirements, transportation, and on-site staffing, ensuring seamless execution and a positive attendee experience.
• Lead and mentor a team of event coordinators and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, and delegating tasks effectively to ensure project success.

Job Requirements

A minimum of 6 years of proven experience in event management, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful event execution.

• Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end event planning, including conceptualization, logistics, execution, and post-event analysis.
• Proficiency in developing and managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Skilled in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional event experiences.
• Experience in coordinating with and managing various vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless event operations.
• Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and drive attendance.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of event logistics, including venue selection, setup, A/V, catering, and transportation.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with proficiency in Mandarin being a significant advantage.
