Job Description

About Us:
The Financial Business Department of AIDC (Alibaba International Division) focuses on providing financial infrastructure services for the Alibaba International Business Platform, including consumer finance and supply chain finance in various scenarios.
Our Insurance Business Team offers innovative and customer-centric insurance online distribution related product and services, to markets including Lazada core markets and more global markets of AIDC ecosystem. We seek a dynamic individual to manage insurance partnership delivery and drive user growth.

Job Summary:
As the Insurance Business Operations Manager, you will oversee insurance partnership projects, ensuring seamless project delivery and post-launch operations. This role requires strong project management skills, bilingual proficiency, and expertise in data analysis and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Case Development:
○ Lead market research and collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and develop operation strategic plans.
○ Develop business cases, including project opportunity projections and campaign budgeting models.
2. Project Management:
○ Lead insurance partnership delivery projects, coordinating with digital product, tech, internal corporate functional teams and partner teams.
○ Develop and manage project timelines, operational initiatives, operate user growth campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals.
○ Work with tech teams to integrate insurance products into digital platforms with all parties
3. Post-Launch Operations:
○ Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback for improvements.
○ Lead issue resolution and performance optimization post-launch.
○ Govern monthly finance reconciliation and settlement processes with insurance partners
4. User Growth & Marketing:
○ Design and implement campaign strategies to attract and retain users through digital marketing campaigns.
○ Analyze user behavior in data driven approach to enhance engagement and satisfaction.


Job Requirements

Key Requirements:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data or related field.
● Experience: Minimum 3~5 years in project management, online insurance, or digital partnership operations, campaign management, including experience in insurance marketplace product operations
● Language: Fluent in English and Chinese as this role requires frequent business communication with China based Internal and External Partners
● Soft Skills: Growth mindset, adaptability, project management, communication and negotiation skills, attention to details

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in digital marketing or insurance distribution on large digital platforms
● Advanced technical skills, including SQL and data visualization tools.
● Experience in user acquisition and growth strategies for motor and travel insurance products in Southeast Asian markets.
