Job Description
An IT Intern is to support IT department in performing a wide range of clerical activities in handling, maintain and update all IT documentation and ensure to comply with guideline and procedure to meet work objective. An IT Intern also is to direct report on a daily basis in request and cases relating to systems, network, security and storage.
- Responsible for all administrative duties for the maintenance department including report preparation, documentation management, inventory tracking and meeting arrangement for the department.
- To assist IT manager in preparing and updating the documentation such as SOPs when required in terms of typing, compiling, recording and safekeeping of the files for easy retrieval.
- Adherence to project document control procedures and compliance with company’s confidentiality.
- Receive, check, classify, categorize, register and store all documents.
- Develop and create various documents folders and organize these to easily searchable and accessible libraries.
- Management:
- Managing licenses.
- Administration
- To ensure all licensed software is properly managed and deployed in a timely manner.
- To monitor and track the usage of all licensed software.
- Security
- To ensure studio’s software is free from any unlicensed software, plugins or apps.
- To ensure all licensed software and credentials is secured.
- To keep all software and OS are up to date.
- Business continuity
- Managing license server and ensuring continuity plans should a disaster happen.
- Research and Evaluation
- Evaluate and recommend technologies to improve productivity and security.
Job Requirements
- Candidate is pursuing at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate diploma/ Bachelor’s degree/ Post graduate diploma/ professional degree in computer science/information technology or equivalent.
- Knowledge of LAN hardware, software management, PC troubleshooting, firewall and etc.
- Aggressive, self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team.
