Job Description

• Support the end-to-end purchasing process for packaging materials, decorative items, and event supplies.
• Create and issue purchase orders (POs), monitor deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods for warehouse operations.
• Liaise with local and international suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure product quality and availability.
• Maintain accurate inventory and cost tracking for procurement items, working closely with the warehouse and fulfilment teams.
• Assist in sourcing new materials or product concepts for seasonal campaigns, events, and product development.
• Coordinate cross-border purchasing and logistics for Malaysia and Singapore warehouses.
• Work closely with the Operations, Creative, and Finance teams to ensure purchasing aligns with project timelines and budgets.
• Prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost efficiency.
• Undertake any other related ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (preferably in e-commerce, retail, or floral/gift industry).
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple purchase requests and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, math's logic, experience with inventory systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Well versed in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Candidates who can speak in other languages will be an added advantages)
