Job Description

Your role as Senior Retail Leasing (Planning) Manager is to the translate the leasing strategy into a desired retail mix to enhance the Mall’s market position. Provide support to Senior Management to add value through asset management strategies and initiatives. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop a leasing (rental revenue) strategy, over medium to long term 
• Forward-looking research on retail markets to deliver insights on future trends 
• Responsible for identifying and shortlisting retail zones & concepts and suitable tenants for the Mall 
• Plan and formulate the concept, positioning and introduction of the new zones within the Mall and provide solutions to maximize retail space efficiency and rental income. 
• Responsible for calculating projected rentals (NPV cashflow scenarios) to meet the investment budget for leasing strategy initiatives 
• Collaborate with Chief Marketing Officer to formulate strong marketing strategies to secure targeted tenants. 
• Track Leasing, Planning & Implementation schedules. 
• To review tenant's sales performance and identify non-performing tenants and update leasing strategy 
• To ensure the assigned space is tenanted according to agreed target tenant/retail mix and to meet the pre-set rental income budget and occupancy 
• To prepare annual revenue budget and drive and guide the team to achieve the target 

Job Requirements

Diploma/ Degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business or Mass Communication/any with min 10 years’ experience.

• Min. 7 year(s) of working experience in handling mall leasing & documentation.
• Great communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. Our tenants come from all walks of life.
