Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

Work closely with Head of Region to strategize, plan, develop and execute business and commercial plan for fibre and mobile expansion to drive regional business growth and ensure maximum return of investment.

Build market position and close business relationship with Real Estate Developers to gain Maxis presence in new property development for Residential and Commercial/Industrial projects.

 

Stimulate Enterprise revenue growth by accounts or area levels and maintain great customer’s indoor and outdoor mobile experience by driving investment paper approval for ​both Indoor Coverage Enhancement and Outdoor Coverage Expansion.

What are you accountable for?

  • Drive demand planning assessment and prepare business case to justify investment required and seek management approval with proposed recommendation.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Head of Region and Segment Sales on their strategy and commercial justification, and track return on investment for approved business cases.
  • Close collaboration with Network on solution proposal for best optimized network design and costing to ensure viable business case and to track deployment progress as per timeline committed and budget approved.
  • Strategize commercial management and partnership with Property Developers, which covers developing business model, commercial proposal and contract negotiation.
  • Establish clear framework, standardised approach and simplify process to continuously improve demand planning and commercial management effectiveness.
  • Work closely with Data Analytics team on reporting and update to management on fibre and mobile infra expansion performance.
  • Set up regular bi-weekly cadence with key stakeholders on progress tracking including monthly management review to highlight escalation and seek support.

What do you need to have for this role?

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience in demand planning in Fixed and Mobile infrastructure will be an added advantage

  • Skilled in data analytics & financial modelling

  • Good stakeholder management and effective communication

  • Strong business and commercial development and negotiation skills

  • Project management skills

  • Ability to influence using logic and facts
