Job Description

1.warehouse

-Supervise and manage daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, inventory control and dispatching of goods.

-Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.

-Manage inventory using FIFO or JIT and ensure stock accuracy.

-Monitor stock expiry and colloborate with Purchasing and Sales to ensure sufficient stock and zero expired stock.

-Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations within the warehouse.

2.Logistics

-Oversee logistics and transportation activities, including coordinating with external carriers and managing shipping schedules.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics providers to secure favorable terms and conditions.

-Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.

3. Team Leadership

-Lead, train and develop warehouse and logistics staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.

-Foster a positive work environment and ensure team members are motivated and alligned with organizational goals.

-Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.

-Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.


Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management and logistics, preferrably within the manufacturing sector.
  3. Proven experience in managing teams and leading warehouse operations.
  4. Knowldege of warehouse management systems (WMS).
  5. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage mutiple priorities.
  6. Effective communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders incuding suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software SAP/ERP.
