Since starting as a private brand of The Seiyu, Ltd. (currently Seiyu GK), MUJI has grown to offer more than 7,000 items, developing and merchandising diverse necessities ranging from clothes to foods to housing. MUJI products are sold not only at "MUJI store" but through other types of retailers including outlets, Internet-based shops, convenience stores (FamilyMart) and Askul (online sale).

About Muji 

History MUJI products were developed as low-priced, quality goods under the slogan, "Lower priced for a reason." In 1980, based on its experience of in-house product development with its former parent company, Seiyu, Ltd, Ryohin Keikaku launched MUJI as the brand designed with a no-brand concept. The basic concept of its product development was to manufacture really well designed essential items for daily living. Therefore, we focused on the careful selection of material, streamlining manufacturing processes, and simplifying our packaging; such a forward-looking concept has made MUJI products appear fresh and new to people living in this modern era so saturated with excessive, and over-decorated things. &nbsp;Inventory Management &amp; Stock Optimization:

<li>Manage daily and monthly inventory operations, including stock tracking, inventory replenishment, receiving, and dispatching goods.</li>
<li>Monitor stock levels and conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain inventory forecasting methods to prevent overstocking or stockouts.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Merchandising team to determine reorder points and optimize stock levels.</li>
<li>Analyze inventory data and generate reports on stock levels, trends, and performance metrics.</li>
</ul>
Warehouse Coordination:
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with the Warehouse team to ensure accurate and efficient inventory movement.</li>
<li>Oversee the implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline inventory handling.</li>
<li>Develop and implement inventory management with Warehouse team for best practices and procedures (improving the order fulfilment rate and timely delivery rate).</li>
<li>Identify areas for process improvements and implement strategies to reduce waste, improve accuracy, and lower costs.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all inventory control policies and procedures.</li>
</ul>
Daily Operations Management:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for day-to-day execution and implementation of the e-commerce activities across online channels (product listing, promotion, price change, campaign management).</li>
<li>Track inventory levels and products removal (if necessary).</li>
<li>Follow up on customer’s enquiry on marketplace / EC platforms.</li>
<li>Any other ad-hoc task required.</li>
