Hi! We’re currently looking for service crew to join our team at Blue Dahlia, a cosy café in Petaling Jaya known for its nostalgic Malaysian kuih, desserts, and comforting local favourites.

At Blue Dahlia, we serve up generations-old Peranakan recipes — from onde-onde and pulut panggang to cendol and buttery pineapple tarts — in a warm, welcoming space where locals and visitors alike come to unwind and savour nostalgic flavours. Our service crew are the heart of our guest experience, bringing friendliness, attentiveness, and passion for great food to every shift.

• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, ensuring they are comfortably seated.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, paying attention to special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, adhering to established service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, chairs, and surrounding areas throughout service.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, proactively addressing any concerns or issues and providing prompt and courteous service recovery.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down tables and service stations before and after service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other service crew members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or 'O' Level qualification.
• Required skills include excellent customer service, effective communication, and the ability to work in a team.
• Candidates must be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Responsible for taking customer orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area, including dining tables and service stations.
• Assisting in the preparation and storage of food and beverage ingredients.
