Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented In-House Accounts Executive to manage our daily accounting and finance operations. This role is hands-on and covers the full bookkeeping cycle, from invoicing and collections to payments and basic financial reporting.

You will work closely with management to ensure accurate records, healthy cash flow, and timely financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate accounting records
  • Issue invoices and follow up on collections with customers
  • Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP)
  • Prepare payment schedules and process supplier payments
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents (physical and digital)
  • Prepare basic financial reports (e.g. P&L, cash flow summaries)
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, or tax agents when required
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Support ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Experience in handling a full set of accounts is an advantage
     

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment processes
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks or similar)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Good communication skills for liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Trustworthy, responsible, and able to handle confidential information

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Familiarity with local tax requirements (e.g. SST, basic compliance)
  • Experience working in an SME environment
  • Immediate or short notice availability
