Job Description

Job Summary:

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing assigned customer accounts, driving new business opportunities, and achieving assigned sales targets. This role requires strong relationship management, solution-based selling skills, and close collaboration with presales, delivery, and vendor teams to deliver value to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

New Account & New Logo Acquisition (Hunter Focus)

  • Actively identify, prospect, and recruit new customer accounts and new logos aligned with company target segments.
  • Develop and execute new account acquisition strategies to expand market presence.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers in newly acquired customers.
  • Convert prospects into long-term customers through consultative selling.

Account Management & Revenue Growth

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts (enterprise / commercial / government as applicable).
  • Develop account plans and penetration strategies to expand wallet share within existing customers.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.

Sales & Pipeline Management

  • Drive end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, requirement discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
  • Maintain a healthy and accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and commercial discussions.
  • Work towards quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Solution Selling & Collaboration

  • Understand customer business challenges and position appropriate IT / cybersecurity / cloud / data centre solutions.
  • Work closely with Presales and Technical teams on solution design, PoC, and proposal development.
  • Coordinate with PMO and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover and customer satisfaction.

Vendor & Partner Engagement

  • Engage with principals and vendors (e.g. OEMs, distributors) on pricing, deal registration, and joint go-to-market activities.
  • Participate in vendor-led campaigns, events, and account planning sessions.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in CRM system.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and account reviews.
  • Revenue target achievement policies and sales processes.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience (IT solutions, system integrator,cybersecurity, or enterprise technology preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of solution-based selling.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Self-motivated, result-driven, and customer-focused.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
