Responsibilities

1.     Meet sales revenue budget and maximizing profits.

2.     Provide market update, monthly sales forecast, and project pipeline.

3.     Schedule date and time to meet clients.

4.     Prepare quotation for clients.

5.     Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.

6.     Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.

7.     Build and maintain good relationships with clients.

8.     Actively seek out new sales opportunities via calling, networking, and social media.

9.     Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.

10.  Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.

11.  Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.

12.  Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.

13.  Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.

14.  Gather feedback from customers to have improvement in the future. 

15.  Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities.

16.  Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products

17.  Attend workshops to learn more technical and professional skills.

18.  Build and maintain professional networks.

19.  To uphold the corporate core values of Respect & Responsibility, Enterprising, Excellence and Integrity.

20.  To carry out other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time.

21.  To ensure compliance and conformances to the Sime Darby Berhad Group Policies and Authorities (GPA), Code of Business Conduct (COBC) and any applicable policies, guidelines, standard operating procedures issued by the Company and/or the Group as well as any such applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where the Company is operating.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce/Sales/Marketing or any other related degree
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience is required
  • Have experience in automotive industry is an added value
  • Able to speak in Mandarin / Cantonese or other languages is an advantage
