What you'll learn & do:
Recruitment
- Source and manage candidates through existing job portals.
- Conduct phone screenings for shortlisted candidates.
- Arrange and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Employee Relations
- Assist with employee wellbeing initiatives, including maintaining office snacks and comfort items.
- Support weekly office celebrations and occasional company activities.
- Capture photos and videos during employee engagement activities.
Training & Development
- Be involved in coordinating team-building activities and training arrangements.
Performance Management
- Learn how performance management is carried out within a retail environment.
Compliance and Legal Obligations
- Gain exposure to HR practices aligned with the Malaysian Employment Act.
Strategic Planning
- Contribute ideas and perspectives to support HR initiatives and process improvements.
Job Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Currently pursuing Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Admin, Psychology, or related fields
- Basic knowledge of Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relation 1967
- Strong command of English and communication skills
- Someone with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine interest in working with people.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- High ethical standards and dependability.
- An engaging personality, a great sense of humor, and a willingness to have fun!
