About the job

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Category Strategy & Planning

  • Under the lead of the Global Category Manager (GCM), develop and regularly update the category strategic plan and related policies for assigned procurement categories, in line with Corporate Procurement policies and vision.
  • Support GCMs in category strategy creation and ensure alignment of local/regional sourcing initiatives with global objectives.
  • Execute source-to-contract elements of global category strategies and global sourcing initiatives within defined thresholds & business units, in alignment with the respective GCM

Sourcing Execution & Risk Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and suppliers, supporting procurement activities including pre-qualification and tender management.
  • Ensure that all practices meet applicable legal requirements as well as relevant internal policies and procedures.
  • Identifies and manages sourcing risks; escalates/reporting to GCM, Procurement Excellence, and stakeholders.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and expert functions to clarify business requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose sourcing solutions.
  • Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support supplier relationship management, including qualification, development, and ensuring an adequate supplier base within procurement systems.
  • Partners with Corporate Responsibility function to embed sustainability in sourcing; ensures strict compliance with legal and internal requirements.

Value Delivery & Compliance

  • Identify and deliver savings opportunities supported by data analytics and market insights, while ensuring service quality, cost efficiency, and timeliness.
  • Reduce maverick spend and promote process compliance by driving adherence to standard templates and procurement systems.

Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure consistent application of procurement processes, systems, and tools.
  • Adherence to procurement processes and systems and support continuous improvement.

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Sourcing Manager, ideally handling multiple categories.
  • University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Proficiency in one or more APAC languages (e.g., Japanese, Korean, Thai) is an advantage.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Strong understanding of SAP/Ariba and end-to-end procurement processes.
  • Proven sourcing and negotiation expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders across regions and functions.
  • Exhibits a positive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
