Job Description

  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for purchasing and operations support to the company.
  • In charge of all general purchasing and operations duties. 
  • Responsible for sourcing for materials & new suppliers and purchasing related works.
  • Ensure timely delivery of material for smooth running of production department operation.
  • Responsible for inventory and stock control
  • To arrange for transportation/ outgoing delivery 
  • Responsible for overall operation, production planning & control
  • Responsible for quality control – incoming material QC, work in progress QC for woodworking, work in progress QC for finishing work and finished products QC
  • To ensure smooth and efficient workflow in production activities
  • To liaise, co-ordinate and work closely with production, project and sales teams to meet customers’ requirements and delivery schedules
  • To control and verify non-conformities related to products, processes and quality system
  • Any other duties assigned by your superior or the Management 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in Manufacturing or Production Management / Wood Technology / Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • 2 years’ working experience in purchasing within the furniture manufacturing /wood working industry
  • Computer literate
  • Good knowledge in ISO 9001: 2015 will be an added advantage
  • Must be able to converse in Mandarin, read & write due to the nature of business – to communicate with Mandarin speaking sub con/ supplier effectively.
