Job Description
Teemi is a fast-growing Malaysian brand focused on ergonomic school bags that improve children’s well-being. As we expand into offline retail and strengthen our product pipeline, we are looking for someone who can take ownership of product execution and bring structure to innovation.

Responsibility
1..Product Development Execution
- Translate product ideas into structured briefs
- Coordinate materials, colors, structure, and features
- Manage sampling rounds and improvement feedback
- Ensure practicality, durability, and cost alignment
2. Vendor & Sample Coordination
- Liaise directly with factories and material suppliers
- Follow up on sampling timelines and costing
- Maintain clear documentation of development progress
- Escalate critical quality or timeline issues when necessary
3. Market & Product Research
- Conduct basic market and competitor analysis
- Gather and summarize customer feedback
- Turn insights into actionable product improvements
4. Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Assist in defining QC standards per product
- Monitor defect trends and propose corrective actions
- Work closely with warehouse and customer service to close feedback loops
5. After-Sales Product Insights
- Categorize repair and return reasons
- Identify recurring design or material issues
- Recommend product enhancements
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Plus point: 2–4 years experience in product development, sourcing, QC, or related field (bags/apparel/kids products preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Comfortable coordinating with factories and suppliers
- Structured thinker with good documentation habits
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
- Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
Language Requirement (Mandatory)
- Able to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
- Confident in handling vendor communication, documentation, and internal coordination in both languages
This role requires frequent communication with suppliers and cross-functional team members.
