We are looking for a dynamic Senior HR Executive who will play a critical role in scaling our workforce, and building a positive company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

•  HR Strategy & Policy Development 
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy. 
• Lead the creation and execution of HR policies, ensuring they reflect industry best practices and local legal requirements. 
•  Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning 
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract top talent in tech, engineering, and creative fields.
• Work closely with department heads to understand workforce needs and ensure timely and effective hiring. 
•  Employee Engagement & Culture 
• Foster a positive workplace culture by organising team-building events, and recognition programmes, and championing employee well-being. 
• Develop and implement employee engagement strategies that reflect VTF’s values of innovation, creativity, and collaboration. 
•  Performance Management & Development
• Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to drive employee growth and organisational goals. o Lead initiatives for employee training and development, with a focus on leadership, technical skills, and personal growth. 
•  Compensation & Benefits Management 
• Oversee compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring they remain competitive and motivate high performance. 
• Recommend and manage employee incentives, wellness programmes, and other perks tailored to the needs of a tech company. 
•  Compliance & Risk Management 
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and regulations, including overseeing payroll administration and employee contracts. 
• Manage HR-related risks, including employee relations, legal issues, and safety compliance. 
•  Leadership & C-Suite Collaboration 
• Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing insights on people management and organisational structure.
  

Job Requirements

•  Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field. 
•  2-3 years of HR experience, ideally within the tech or startup industry. 
•  Strong understanding of HR best practices, policies, and employment laws in Malaysia. 
•  Proven track record in recruitment, employee engagement, and performance management. 
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a startup mindset. 
•  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation. 
•  Visionary leadership, with a desire to grow into a Chief People Officer role. 
•  Experience with HR systems, data analytics, and talent management tools.
