Job Description

PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE (OF THIS POSITION): 

The Manager, Strategic Partnership (MY/SG), oversees partnership strategy, execution, and revenue growth across Malaysia and Singapore. This role manages high-impact collaborations, secures funding, and leads the team to deliver regional partnership performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partnership Leadership (MY/SG)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners (e.g: banks, loyalty platform, digital platform, telco..etc) across Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Secure funding, long-term collaborations, and cross-border partnership opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations and ensure strategic alignment across multi-market initiatives.

Partner & Market Analysis

  • Evaluate potential partners based on business value, scalability, and market relevance.
  • Analyse MY/SG market trends and competitor activities to guide partnership direction.

Campaign & Execution Oversight

  • With closely with Business Unit such as Marketing & Campaign Team to oversee partnership campaigns from ideation, execution and optimization across both markets.
  • Monitor performance closely to optimise take-up rates and campaign efficiency.
  • Ensure initiatives are aligned with local marketing, operations, and tech capabilities.

Reporting & Post-Mortem

  • Prepare detailed post-mortems, insights, and improvement recommendations.
  • Present MY/SG partnership performance to senior management.

Team Management & Coaching

  • Guide and coach the partnership team to hit targets and KPIs.
  • Provide support, direction, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure cross-market alignment and smooth collaboration within the team


Job Requirements

JOB COMPETENCIES / REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5–8 years experience in partnerships, BD, or KAM (preferably regional)
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience handling multi-market partnerships (bonus: Singapore exposure)
  • Data-driven, strategic thinker, excellent presentation skills
