Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy
<ul>
<li>Implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.</li>
<li>Ensure HR practices/changes are compliant with Malaysian labor law (EA 1955, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDC, etc.).</li>
<li>Reports to GM and Owner to develop more efficient HR processes that actually benefit the teams.</li>
</ul>
Recruitment &amp; Onboarding
<ul>
<li>Manage end-to-end recruitment across all outlets (Front office, Housekeeping, F&amp;B, HQ etc).</li>
<li>Develop/update job descriptions, conduct interviews, and coordinate onboarding and orientation programs.</li>
<li>Build talent pipelines for operational and management roles.</li>
</ul>
Performance Development
<ul>
<li>Lead the annual appraisal process based on CapsuleTransit’s values and competency framework.</li>
<li>Identify training needs and manage HRDC claimable training programs.</li>
<li>Support managers in setting clear KPIs and coaching for team members.</li>
</ul>
Payroll &amp; Benefits
<ul>
<li>Process monthly payroll, leave management, and claims via BrioHR HRMS.</li>
<li>Ensure accuracy of statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).</li>
<li>Recommend pay adjustments and incentive programs based on performance and market benchmarks</li>
</ul>
IR
<ul>
<li>Promote a positive workplace culture across all outlets.</li>
<li>Handle disciplinary issues, grievances, and counseling with fairness and empathy.</li>
<li>Plan and execute employee engagement programs, team-building, and recognition initiatives.</li>
</ul>
Compliance, Reporting and Admin
<ul>
<li>Ensure HR documentation and procedures meet audit requirements.</li>
<li>Support labor inspections and resolve compliance issues proactively.</li>
<li>Manage insurance, HRDC levy utilization, and vendor contracts related to HR.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and updated employee records in HRIS.</li>
<li>Prepare HR reports on headcount, turnover, leave trends, and other key metrics.</li>
</ul>
