Job Description

Leads the development of brand and content strategies across client accounts and pitches. Oversees strategists and copywriters to ensure all outputs are aligned, insight-driven, and effectively executed. Must have strong experience in brand & content strategy and creative copywriting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Team Leadership & Output Ownership
    1. Set clear direction and expectations for strategic thinking and creative output.
    2. Ensure consistency in thinking, tone, and quality across all projects.
  2. New Business / Pitches
    1. Oversee and lead the development of campaign strategies and big ideas across pitches.
    2. Ensure strategic alignment across copy, design, and activation (where required).
    3. Shape and refine ideas developed by the team into clear, compelling narratives.
    4. Lead or support pitch presentations with strong storytelling and conviction.
  3. Retainer Clients (Ongoing Strategy)
    1. Oversee development of proposals based on client briefs, ensuring strong strategic thinking.
    2. Guide the creation of taglines, big ideas, and campaign platforms.
  4. Content Quality & Governance
    1. Safeguard the quality of all content outputs, with a strong focus on copywriting.
    2. Ensure clarity, tone, and messaging are aligned to strategy and brand voice.

KPI/SUCCESS METRICS

  1. Quality of team output: Consistency and standard of ideas, copy, and strategies delivered.
  2. Pitch performance: Effectiveness and success rate of proposals and concepts.
  3. Strategic clarity: Strength and usability of ideas across teams and clients.
  4. Team development: Growth and capability of team members under management. 


Job Requirements

  1. 5–7 years in content strategy, creative strategy, or copywriting (agency experience required).
  2. Proven ability to lead and develop a team, not just produce individual work.
  3. Strong conceptual thinking and campaign development skills.
  4. Excellent copywriting ability and sensitivity to tone and messaging.
  5. Confident presenter with strong storytelling skills.
  6. Solid understanding of digital, social, and integrated content ecosystems.
