Job Description

As an Finance & Accounting Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional finance environment. This internship is designed to help you develop practical accounting skills while contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of our accounting operations. You will work closely with the finance team and support various accounting processes and reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

📊 Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

💰 Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Help manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and follow-ups for collections.

🧾 Data Entry & Record Keeping

• Input financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records.

🏦 Bank Reconciliation

• Assist in reconciling bank statements.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies.

🔍 Audit Support

• Prepare and organize audit-related documentation.
• Assist during internal and external audit processes.

📈 Budgeting & Forecasting

• Support in drafting budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures.

📝 Compliance & Regulatory Filings

• Help prepare reports for compliance and regulatory purposes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

💼 Expense Reporting

• Review and verify employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance.

🗂 Administrative Support

• Handle general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and organizing financial documents. 
• Assist with other accounting tasks as required.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge in accounting entries of Debit & Credits.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and apply new accounting skills.
