Job Description

 We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing construction materials, equipment, and services to support ongoing and upcoming projects. 

  Key Responsibilities: 

• Identify and evaluate suppliers of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
   
• Request and compare quotations, negotiate pricing and terms
   
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies
   
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites
   
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases
   
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams to ensure smooth procurement processes
   
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
   
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
   
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction or engineering procurement
   
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
   
• Good knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and suppliers
   
• Proficient in MS Office and procurement software (e.g., SAP, ERP systems)
   
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
   
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
