Job Purpose

The job is mainly to assist with day-to-day business operations that related to finance, monitoring and analyzing financial data, as well as identifying trends in financial reporting. Key Accountabilities

  1. Responsible for full set of accounts for individual customer by contract
  2. Assists in day-to-day business operations (related to finance)
  3. Responsible in preparing & monitoring on monthly billing
  4. Responsible for Month end closing (review GL Listing, prepare Journals for accruals &  reclass for individual customers 
  5. Responsible to prepare, review and analyse P&L/ trend sheet for individual contract
  6. Adhoc tasks assigned from time-to-time e.g Site classification assessment (SCA), Kaizen validation, OT validation for Finance related
  7. Monitor & update balance sheet listing/ schedule- Provisions,Accruals
  8. Support Finance Controller on adhoc matters

 

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

 

Education & Qualifications

Equivalent to Degree holder in Finance, International Business Studies, MIS or any relevant qualification.


Experience 

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in preferably related to Finance / Operations / Project implementation & Deployment in freight forwarding or logistic industry.

 

Specialist Knowledge & Skills

To guide, discuss and enhance current processes continuously with each Key Users to enhance OFS reporting efficiency to avoid redundancy, increase productivity and promote accuracy.


Interpersonal & Communication Skills
Ambition to grow knowledge of team members and other colleagues.
Can do mentality and positive attitude.
Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.
