Job Description

Recruitment & Staffing:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing requirements and develop job descriptions.
  • Review resumes, conduct interviews, and streamline the selection procedure.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a seamless integration for new employees.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the main resource for employee inquiries and issues.
  • Facilitate the resolution of workplace conflicts and offer advice on HR regulations.
  • Conduct exit interviews and examine turnover patterns.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the performance evaluation process, including the establishment of goals and feedback sessions.
  • Help managers address performance challenges and create development plans.

Compliance & Policy Administration:

  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO).
  • Keep precise employee records and maintain HR documentation.
  • Revise employee handbooks and policies as necessary.

Benefits & Compensation:

  • Oversee employee benefits programs (healthcare, retirement plans, etc.).
  • Support payroll processes and address compensation-related inquiries.

HRIS & Data Management:

  • Leverage HRIS systems to handle employee information and prepare reports.
  • Evaluate HR metrics to spot trends and suggest enhancements.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in HR generalist roles.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with employment regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII) and HR best practices.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in HRIS (e.g., Workday, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
    • High level of confidentiality when managing sensitive information.
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
