FutureLab provides a mentoring platform that connects youth and young professionals with experienced mentors across Southeast Asia. We work with government bodies, corporations, and universities to run digital mentoring programs that support workforce readiness, leadership development, and entrepreneurship. 

As a Business Operations Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day activities of our mentoring programs and platform. You’ll help ensure smooth user experiences, provide first-line customer support, and assist with tracking, reporting, and operational tasks across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities
🛠 Operations

• Assist in the coordination and execution of mentoring programs, events, and internal processes
• Help manage logistical arrangements, including mentor sessions, learning events, and digital workshops

💬 Customer Servicing & Community Engagement

• Provide first-line support to mentors and mentees on the platform (e.g. onboarding, troubleshooting, responding to inquiries)
• Monitor and track 1-on-1 mentoring sessions and ensure fulfilment
• Collect feedback and testimonials from users

📊 Reporting & Impact Tracking

• Track weekly key metrics: mentor/mentee sign-ups, session fulfilment, and user engagement
• Prepare basic reports and summaries for internal teams and clients
• Help update internal dashboards and program trackers

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken) 
• Proactive and organized with great attention to detail
• Comfortable handling repetitive tasks and following through
• Good interpersonal skills – you enjoy helping people
• Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
• Has a growth mindset and is eager to learn
• Owns a laptop and has stable internet access
