Job Description

 

  • Evaluate and develop strategies for targeted markets to generate new leads and opportunities.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure smooth delivery to customers.
  • Conduct market research, provide forecasts, and offer feedback to the Sales Director for assessment.
  • Drive product presentations and penetration with confidence.
  • Adopt a sales-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales revenue.
  • Demonstrate a “hunter” mentality for acquiring new customers.
  • Maintain a proven track record in B2B sales, especially in OEMs, electronics, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Possess strong technical acumen and effectively communicate technical concepts.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Provide weekly reviews to the Sales Director for reporting.
  • Organize training for vendors, distributors, and customers.
  • Confidently conduct presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
  • Stay informed about new product launches and acquire the necessary technical knowledge.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

 


Job Requirements

 

  • A Diploma or degree in Engineering is a must, preferably with an electrical background.
  • At least 4-5 years of relevant sales experience in a related segment or industry.
  • A highly motivated, results-oriented, and proactive individual who thrives on the challenge of acquiring new clients.
  • Knowledge of handling low voltage electrical products.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as a team player.
  • A high degree of initiative, drive, and responsibility.
  • Familiarity with and preference for working in an SME-type structure.
  • Willingness to travel within Malaysia and the region as required.
  • Proficient in English, Malay and Mandarin with good fluency.
  • A strong team player.
