Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Human Resource (HR Executive) to join our team in the construction, renovation, and interior design industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and disciplinary matters
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts, HR documentation, and official letters
  • Handle payroll processing, including EPF, SOCSO, and EIS submissions
  • Manage disciplinary actions such as warning letters, show cause notices, and domestic inquiries
  • Act as a liaison between management and site employees
  • Ensure compliance with Employment Act 1955 and Malaysian labour laws
  • Manage site workers and foreign workers (permits, passports, levy), if applicable
  • Assist management in developing and implementing HR policies, SOPs, and employee KPIs
  • Prepare HR reports and updates for management as required.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related fields 
  • Minimum 2–3 years of HR experience (experience in construction industry is an advantage)
  • Knowledgeable in payroll processing and Malaysian labour laws
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR systems
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Able to work independently and in a hands-on environment
  • Comfortable dealing with employees at all levels, including site staff

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):

  • Ensure timely recruitment and manpower fulfillment for site and office staff
  • Maintain employee attendance rate of ≥95% and manage disciplinary matters effectively
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in payroll processing and on-time statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS)
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation
  • Handle disciplinary cases and employee issues within 7 working days
  • Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labour laws and company policies
  • Manage foreign workers’ permits, documents, and welfare (if applicable)
  • Prepare and submit monthly HR reports to management on time
