Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the People Data, Pay & Benefits function responsible for ensuring workforce data integrity, accurate and timely pay outcomes, and effective time management across people operations services. This role manages complex and exception-based cases, supports payroll and compensation cycles, and provides subject-matter guidance to strengthen operational quality, controls, and service continuity. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Govern workforce data integrity and employee records by implementing and maintaining quality controls across people operations processes. 
  • Review, resolve, and remediate complex data discrepancies and high-risk corrections; support audits, data governance, and compliance requirements. 
  • Manage pay and time management cycles (Singapore & Malaysia) by validating payroll inputs, compensation cycle data, and time or shift updates. 
  • Facilitate accurate and timely payments and deductions, including bonuses, annual increments, annual wage supplements, and other statutory pay components. 
  • Liaise with payroll vendors on data issues, payroll reconciliation, corrections, and audit readiness. 
  • Provide subject-matter guidance to internal stakeholders on complex case resolution, correct processing, and data setup. 
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and operational efficiencies to ensure timely processing and effective management of workforce data and records. 

Job Requirements

  • Possess a University Bachelor’s Degree, with 5–8 years of experience in HR operations, shared services, payroll support, or people data administration within a centralised or shared services environment, supporting both high-volume frontline and professional roles.   
  • Proven experience managing complex data, payroll (Singapore & Malaysia), or time management cases. 
  • Strong ability to manage high-volume transactions while ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). 
  • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills to manage competing deadlines across payroll runs, compensation cycles, and data updates. 
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, automation, and digital enablement, including HRIS or payroll platforms (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, Workday), with active adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) tools. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with effective interpersonal and communication abilities. 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of how workforce data and pay inputs impact payroll accuracy, statutory compliance, tax obligations, and financial reporting.
