<li>Trains new front office staff in term of works and professional conducts.</li>
<li>Answers letters of inquiry regarding rates and availability.</li>
<li>Maintains a thorough knowledge of the room rack location, types of rooms, room rack operations, package plans, hotel facilities.</li>
<li>Maintain a detailed knowledge about the hotel’s services and hours of operations.</li>
<li>Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the front office team members with an emphasis on training and teamwork.</li>
<li>Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as the knowledge of local area and are continuously trained to learn and understand policies and practices.</li>
<li>Responsible for cash handling including float and banking</li>
<li>Dealing efficiently with day-to-day billing and guest service queries.</li>
<li>Ensure the effective allocation of work among various sections and shifts. Plan and control the preparation of future shifts while maintaining effective communication with the team. Additionally, ensure that the front office shift checklist is completed and adhered to.</li>
<li>Allocation of all rooms to include, special requests, preference and requirement from guests or management.</li>
<li>Be flexible at all times in order to cover the unexpected needs of the hotel.</li>
<li>Anticipates and intervenes in all incidents of guest dissatisfaction and attempts to satisfy all such guests, within hotel policy.</li>
<li>Ensure all reports prepared by the Front Office sections are accurate.</li>
</ol>
