About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist with a strong background in Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) to join our dynamic HR team. You’ll play a key role in cultivating a positive workplace environment, resolving employee concerns, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

Employee Relations (ER):

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on ER issues.
  • Handle employee grievances, conduct investigations, and provide resolution recommendations.
  • Promote and support a positive work environment through coaching, counseling, and communication.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and feedback processes (e.g. surveys, townhalls).

Industrial Relations (IR):

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and IR regulations.
  • Collaborate with legal and management teams on union matters and collective agreements.
  • Support and/or represent the company in discussions with trade unions and during negotiations.
  • Manage disciplinary actions, show-cause processes, and domestic inquiries in compliance with legal frameworks.

General HR Support:

  • Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation related to ER/IR cases.
  • Support HR projects including performance management, policy training, and compliance audits.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive HR best practices and employee well-being.

Job Requirements

 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR, with a strong emphasis on ER and IR matters.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and industrial relations frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
