We are hiring on behalf of an industry-leading manufacturer with a strong reputation for innovation, product quality, and export excellence. They are currently seeking a Purchasing Executive to support their growing operations in Tampoi, Johor Bahru.

<h3>Job Responsibilities</h3>
Primary Duties (70–80%):
<ul>
<li>Handle procurement of raw materials, semi-finished goods, packaging, spare parts, and indirect items from local and overseas sources.</li>
<li>Issue and manage Purchase Orders (PO) to suppliers and subcontractors.</li>
<li>Ensure completeness of purchase requirements (samples, quotations) before supplier engagement.</li>
<li>Monitor stock levels, material usage, and ensure timely delivery to avoid production delays.</li>
<li>Prepare purchasing reports and forecasts for management.</li>
<li>Source, evaluate, and negotiate with new and existing suppliers for cost-effective, reliable materials.</li>
<li>Maintain purchasing documentation, quality records, and supplier performance data.</li>
<li>Coordinate sample testing and maintain test result records.</li>
<li>Supervise and review subordinates’ work to ensure accuracy and compliance. &nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Secondary Duties (20–30%):
<ul>
<li>Conduct annual supplier evaluations and site visits as needed.</li>
<li>Prepare yearly supplier performance charts and participate in review meetings with management.</li>
<li>Issue internal transfer notes and generate shipping stickers as per requirement.</li>
<li>Assist with any additional tasks related to procurement and inventory operations. &nbsp;</li>
