About the role 
We are seeking a driven Purchasing Officer/Executive to join our team in Muar District, Johor. As a Purchasing Officer/Executive, you will play a vital role in managing and optimising our procurement processes to support the smooth operations of our manufacturing business. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within our organisation.
What you'll be doing
<ul>
<li>Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying supplier needs to negotiating contracts and placing orders</li>
<li>Research and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring we obtain the best quality materials and services at competitive prices</li>
<li>Collaborate with production, inventory and finance teams to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise disruptions</li>
<li>Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing, while maintaining strong relationships</li>
<li>Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures and relevant regulations</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and reporting</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement continuous improvements&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
