Job Description

The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining new and existing business opportunities. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, understanding market trends, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver value-added solutions. 

  1. Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
  • Analyze competitor activities and provide actionable insights to the management team.
  • Explore untapped markets to expand the company’s reach.
     

2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Identify potential clients and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients.
     

3. Business Strategy Implementation:

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to meet sales targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to design campaigns and promotions tailored to client needs.
  • Provide input on pricing strategies and product offerings based on market feedback.
     

4. Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs as set by the company.
  • Track and report sales performance to management on a regular basis.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
     

5. Internal Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Provide feedback from clients to improve products, services, and business processes.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative solutions for clients.
     

Job Requirements

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
     

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the industry or product category is a plus.
