As an Officer/Executive in Non-Trade Procurement, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient sourcing, procurement, and supplier management to support Qra’s operations. Collaborating with both internal teams and external suppliers, you will focus on cost optimization, enhancing supply chain processes, and upholding high procurement standards.

This position is well-suited for someone with strong analytical and negotiation skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage procurement activities effectively. Your responsibilities will include sourcing, supplier relationship management, and overseeing the operational execution of procurement tasks to ensure timely, cost-efficient procurement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Procurement

• Implement both strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives that align with the company’s goals.
• Identify, assess, and onboard new suppliers while optimizing relationships with existing vendors.
• Assist in negotiate contracts and pricing to drive cost savings and improve procurement terms.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with departments such as Operations, Marketing, Merchandising, and IT to understand and address procurement requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely deliveries and maintain strong, productive relationships.
• Regularly evaluate and enhance supply sources while strengthening supplier partnerships.

Operational Procurement & Compliance

• Generate SKU numbers and item codes, while managing vendor registration processes.
• Monitor inventory levels, reorder stock, and manage cost transfers between warehouses and outlets.
• Perform quality control (QC) checks on random products during site visits.
• Process Goods Received Notes (GRN) and work closely with the Finance team to ensure timely payment settlements.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of procurement experience in retail, F&B, or food manufacturing.
• Proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin to liaise with global suppliers.
