Role Description

•   Monitor escalation/incidents reported and follow-up with respective team to resolve the issue.
• Daily facility infra status check and pro-actively monitor the data centre components (UPS, CCTV, PAC, EMS, HSSD systems) to ensure availability on preventing any service interruption leading to downtime.
• Prepare and execute daily, weekly and monthly reports as per defined role.
• Monitor and handle physical access request/escalation and ensure physical security and HSE procedures are followed strictly.
• Tape handling and onsite inventory management are in accordance to customer requirements.
• Support and work with customer in handling commissioning or decommissioning of non-ICT equipment required for the installation/setup of customer environment.
• Coordinate and handle ICT hardware delivery arrangement, acceptance, inspection, claim, return or collection and disposal.
• Monitor tasks performed by vendor and ensure no impact to other ICT equipment. 
• Monitor and coordinate cabling installation or decommission. Ensure the cabling is connected or removed from the correct switch ports.
• Ensure the planned annual maintenance plan is followed through, monitored and supported to ensure vendor services performed in accordance to agreement which includes the cleaning services.
• Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment by complying to all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• ICT inventory update and ever greening with accuracy after each installation and decommission in relevant customer tools.
• Store or holding area inventory management.
• Support customer in DC related projects for improvement and optimization programs.
• Any other duties as and when instructed by the Reporting Officer or the Senior Management.

Job Requirements

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Engineering or Diploma holders with 2 years Data Centre experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good command of English language. 
• General troubleshooting skills of desktop. 
• Knowledge in ITIL processes.
• Assertiveness, empathy, active listening, fast learner.
• Practical, hands-on approach to get results.
• Customer-centric.
• Being able to work in international teams and multi-cultural environment
