We envision our student residence as a vibrant community where residents feel safe, connected and belong. &nbsp; The Senior Wellbeing Ambassador plays a vital role in fostering a supportive, inclusive, and engaging residential community at Taylor’s Residence. This position focuses on ensuring resident well-being, leading and mentoring residence staff, organizing community activities, and maintaining operational excellence. This role also involves collaborating with other departments to enhance resident satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and create a thriving, balanced living environment. &nbsp; KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES &nbsp; Resident Well-being &amp; Support: <ul> <li style="list-style-type:none"> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Oversee resident welfare and mental well-being through weekly check-ins.</li> <li>Address resident concerns promptly, responding within an hour for high-priority issues.</li> <li>Provide immediate support and guidance during crises, connecting residents to the appropriate resources.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> &nbsp; Community Building: <ul> <li>Implement activities or workshops to foster a strong sense of belonging and community among residents.</li> <li>Plan &amp; organize events focused on physical, social, mental, and intellectual well-being, ensuring inclusivity and diversity.</li> <li>Collaborate with Wellbeing Ambassadors to gather feedback and ideas for community activities.</li> <li>Mediate resident conflicts transparently, document incidents thoroughly, and liaise with campus security, counseling, and other relevant departments.</li> </ul> &nbsp; Leadership and Team Management <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to ensure effective operations.</li> <li>Conduct regular training sessions to enhance skills in conflict resolution, resident support, and facility management.</li> <li>Foster a collaborative team culture, encourage initiative, and manage team schedules and workload for optimal efficiency.</li> </ul> &nbsp; Operational Efficiency <ul> <li>Conduct regular inspections of common areas, resident rooms, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance needs are addressed.</li> <li>Liaise with maintenance teams and external contractors for timely repairs and safety protocol compliance, including fire drills and emergency preparedness.</li> </ul> &nbsp; Administrative Duties <ul> <li>Oversee and ensure timely completion of resident records, incident reports, and weekly documentation.</li> <li>Assist with check-in, check-out, and during-stay processes while maintaining accurate records of resident activities and transfers.</li> <li>Facilitate communication between the residence experience and welfare team, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient reporting.</li> <li>Track and implement follow-up actions for resident feedback.</li> <li>Manage administrative tasks related to both on-campus and off-campus matters to ensure seamless operational support and compliance.</li> </ul> &nbsp; JOB SPECIFICATIONS Minimum Qualification &amp; Experience <ul style="margin-bottom:8.0px"> <li>Degree or Diploma holders in any discipline.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in higher education environment.</li> </ul> Competencies <ul> <li>Must stay-in 24/7 when on duty (accommodation provided by the company).</li> <li>A team player with good working attitude.</li> <li>Committed to keep deadlines, accuracy of work and flexible to multi-tasking.</li> <li>Ability to work on own initiatives and under tight schedules.</li> <li>Ability to adapt to changes in work responsibilities and environment.</li> <li>Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.</li> <li>Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, ie Excel, Word, Power Point and Flow Charts. </li> <li>Possess a command of English &amp; Bahasa Malaysia.
