Job Description

The Role:

As the Sales Manager you will focus on driving the business unit’s overall performance — ensuring revenue growth, project profitability, client satisfaction, and team excellence. This role oversees three key teams — Sales Consultants, Interior Designers, and Project Managers — and acts as the operational and strategic bridge between frontline teams and management. You’ll lead the unit’s sales strategies, manage project delegation, monitor profit margins, and uphold service excellence from client engagement to project completion. What You’ll Do:

  1. Business Performance & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Drive lead generation efforts in collaboration with the marketing and commercialization teams.
  • Monitor and optimize project margins, ensuring efficient cost management and resource allocation.
  • Oversee and ensure timely collection of sales payments from clients.
  • Track and report business unit performance through data-driven insights and dashboards.

2. Strategic Reporting & Operational Oversight

  • Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and improvement plans to senior management.
  • Identify process gaps and propose operational enhancements to improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Align business unit goals with company-wide strategies, contributing to long-term growth initiatives.

3. Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead and manage Sales Consultants, Interior Designers, and Project Managers to achieve team KPIs.
  • Oversee project delegation and workload distribution across the team.
  • Foster a healthy, motivated, and high-performing team culture focused on accountability and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and development plans for team members.
  • Manage conflicts and crises effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

4. Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and training needs across sales, design, and project teams.
  • Collaborate with internal trainers, subject matter experts, and the commercialization team to deliver ongoing skill development programs.
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance sales effectiveness, design presentation quality, and project execution standards.
  • Build a strong pipeline of talent within the business unit through structured learning and growth opportunities.

5. Client Experience & Service Excellence

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality interior projects that align with The Makeover Guys’ brand standards.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and maintain high Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance for the unit.
  • Actively engage in resolving client escalations and ensuring smooth project handovers.

Working Arrangement:

Hybrid. Work closely with our Chief Revenue Officer, Sales Consultant, Interior Designer and Project Manager.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, operations, or business management
  • Experience in interior design, architecture, renovation, or property-related industries is a plus! 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage revenue targets, project margins, and cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with strategic decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Customer-focused, adaptable, and results-driven personality.
